True Internet, die Breitband-Sparte des Unternehmens True Corporation, hat bekannt gegeben, dass sie innerhalb der nächsten drei Jahre 100 Millionen Baht investieren will, um in Pattaya ein öffentliches WiFi-Netzwerk zu errichten. Bereits im ersten Jahr soll das Stadtgebiet von Pattaya zu 80 Prozent abgedeckt werden, bis zum Jahr 2015 soll die komplette Abdeckung erreicht werden. Die Nutzung des Netzwerks soll bis zu einem bestimmten Limit kostenlos sein.
